2026 Election
Local governments play an important role in shaping the communities where we live, work, and play. Every four years, British Columbians elect a mayor and councillors to make decisions on local services, infrastructure, community planning, public safety, parks, recreation, and other issues that affect daily life. Municipal elections give residents the opportunity to choose the leaders who will represent their community and help set its direction for the next four-year term.
