City Meetings

City Meetings

The City of Greenwood is committed to transparency and community engagement through its regular council meetings and periodic town hall meetings. These gatherings provide opportunities for residents to stay informed, participate in discussions, and contribute to decision-making processes. All meetings are held in accordance with municipal bylaws and are open to the public unless otherwise specified. For accessibility, we provide agendas, minutes, and related documents in downloadable formats. Live streaming or virtual attendance options may be available for select meetings—check individual event details for more information.

Council Meetings

Council meetings are the primary forum where elected officials discuss and vote on city policies, budgets, bylaws, and other municipal matters. Regular meetings are typically held on the second and fourth Monday of each month at 7:00 PM in the City Hall Council Chambers, located at 202 S. Government Avenue, Greenwood, BC. Special meetings may be called as needed.

Town Hall Meetings

Town hall meetings offer a more informal setting for residents to engage directly with the Mayor, Council, and city staff on specific topics such as community projects, asset management, or local issues. These meetings are scheduled periodically based on community needs and may include presentations, Q&A sessions, and feedback opportunities.
