Greenwood Community Computer Access Program  (CAP)  In March 1999 Greenwood was awarded an Industry Canada grant to provide Internet Access and computer training to the communities of Greenwood and the rural Boundary Area. 

The Greenwood Improvement Society has partnered to provide four access sites in Greenwood. They are available each with varying equipment to meet community needs. A high quality training program for internet and most software applications was provided during June-August 1999 through donations provided by individuals, organizations and corporations through out the area.

We encourage you to visit and use our facilities. Site locations and hours of operation.

 

Phoenix Foundation

Phoenix Foundation of the Boundary Communities

 Starting the endowment from the city of Grand Forks in 1997, the Centennial year for both Grand Forks and Greenwood. Like the mythological Phoenix rising from the ashes as a universal symbol for immortality, the Phoenix Foundation will contribute to the communities of the Boundary in perpetuity.

 The City of Greenwood BC for helping The Greenwood  Heritage Society preserving our history, and the Greenwood Board of Trade for the excellent work to help promote events and functions in and around Greenwood!
